Have you ever wanted to give up after something got difficult, or you got hurt? Was there a time when you didn’t give up? After we take the time to dream up crazy impossible dreams, and begin to pray for them, sometimes it feels like it gets hard, and we want to stop praying for them.

When we talk about dreaming big, it means we are thinking of the impossible that only God can do. It requires some imagination and creativity that comes from God. The bigger our dreams are, the more we have to pray and step out in faith. We’ll be challenged by the fact that you are never too old or too young to go after the dreams God has put on your heart.

How boldly do you pray? Do you pray in such a way that you truly believe God is able and actually wants to answer your prayers? As author and pastor Mark Batterson writes, "God isn’t offended by your biggest dreams or boldest prayers. He is offended by anything less. If your prayers aren’t impossible to you, they are insulting to God." Listen as we begin a 4-week series on prayer based on the book by Mark Batterson. This week, we’ll learn some lessons from the miracle of the battle of Jericho. Joshua 6:1-16

Jesus conquered the grave, defeated death and sin and now is alive inside of us. What does all that mean for us this Easter Sunday? We win because Jesus was victorious!

When faced with adverse situations, what if we truly fasted and prayed and let God fight our battles? What could God do if we simply got serious and asked Him?

How do we increase our appetite for God? What are some things that we should fast for? How might God want to clarify our vision as we seek Him?

What if every day we craved more of Jesus and less the sweet and salty specialties from the food pantry? We’ll let Daniel and his friends introduce to this spiritual practice of fasting. Will you take the 21 day challenge?

What happens when a son or daughter doesn’t turn out how we had hoped for and trained him/her to be? We’ll see from Luke 15 that when we have a prodigal on our hands, we need to pray like crazy, exercise patience, and demonstrate loads of love.

It is our biblical responsibility as parents to discipline our children in love – it’s something we do for them not to them. So how exactly do we do that? We’ll learn from Scripture some do’s and don’ts when it comes to disciplining our kids.

The three T’s of loving touch, encouraging talk, and abundant time were Jesus’ model for ministering to children and are just as essential for 21st century parenting.
